       (Please complete this form if you are a parent/guardian of a child participating)


Players CANNOT pick up their equipment until ALL forms are signed and uploaded.

2023 - Spring Flag Football

SYC Warrior is hosting FREE Spring Flag Football Pickup Games!
All athletes are welcome! Both Boys and Girls Grades K-7
We will be holding Flag Football games on 4/23, 4/30, and 5/7 from 3:30- 5:00 at the Coop
The Coop is located at 75 North Coop Rd. New Freedom, PA 17349

2023 - SYC Football Season

Divisions
- Smurfs Level - Players going into Kindergarten and 1st Grade in the fall of 2023; Player cannot be 7 before September 1, 2023
- Rinks Level - Players going into 1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade in the fall of 2023; Player cannot be 10 before September 1, 2023
- Pony Level - Players going into 4th and 5th Grade in the fall of 2023; Player cannot be 12 before September 1, 2023
- Midget Level - Players going into 6th and 7th Grade in the fall of 2023; Player cannot be 14 before September 1, 2023
- Flag Football - FREE - all ages above 

In addition to the age and grade parameters above, players entering 8th grade in the Fall of 2023 are ineligible to play SYC Football.

Our League has modified the rules for kids playing for "out of district" teams. Waiver exceptions that were made in prior years will likely not be made this year. Your ability to play SYC Football is determined by - 1) do you go to school in the Southern York County School District and 2) is your home address in the Southern York County School District and/or 3) is the Southern York County School District the closest York County school district in our league (i.e., if you live on the Maryland line) to your home address.

Registration Details:

Login to your account to register at www.sycwarriors.org 
Cost: $100 per player if registered by April 30th and $150 if registered after April 30th.
***Early bird discount of $50 will be applied at registration checkout if registration is completed between 4/1/2023 and 4/30/2023.


Equipment Handout: 

Equipment Handout @ Veterans Field (The Coop) is TBD in July.

Included: We will provide a helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey, and rib protectors.

Not Included: Parents will need to purchase black padded pants, black socks, football cleats, protective cup, and mouthpiece. 

Note: We do have some gently used padded pants and cleats that have been donated. These will be available at Equipment Pickup on a first come, first served basis.
Also: We will have jerseys as well as padded pants available at Equipment Pickup for your child to TRY ON to assist you in determining sizing needed.

Game Day Jersey:

1. Game Day Jersey will be purchased and paid for through SYC Football registration: Cost $50 total. Returning players do not need to purchase a new jersey unless they need a new size.  
2.  Each player will wear black padded pants and black socks. Parents will be responsible for purchasing the padded black pants and black socks for their child. WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING PADDED PANTS THIS YEAR! However, we do have some gently used padded pants that have been donated and will be available at Equipment Pickup - first come first serve. 
4. We will have jerseys as well as padded pants available at Equipment Pick for your child to try on.

Each registering athlete is required to upload a copy of their Birth Certificate, a Medical Release Form signed by a Physician, as well as proof of residency. Residency can be established and supported by a current Southern York County School District report card or Southern York County School District Bus Stop Information only.

1. Practice begins Monday, July 31st. Practices will be Monday through Thursday, 6-8 pm before school year begins. Once school begins, practice will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8pm.
2. We will play 8 games during the season. Home games will be played at Susquehannock High School and on the weekend.
