Warrior Youth Basketball Programs
2024/2025 REGISTRATION DETAILS
The SYC Youth Club Warrior Basketball program offers instructional, recreational and travel options, as well as a special needs league. The travel program is a local program within the Southern York PA area with 2 games per weekend that includes a home game on Sundays. This provides a great opportunity to gain travel experience at a local level!
Instructional Basketball (Kindergarten, 1st Grade & 2nd Grade Co-Ed)
- Clinic style basic skills instruction
- $75 Registration Fee. Registration ends November 30th.
- Season runs early January - February
- Location: Shrewsbury Elementary School on Saturday Mornings.
Recreational Basketball (3rd – 6th Grade Boys & Girls)
- Focused on skill development & basic game understanding. Registration ends September 30th.
- $125 Registration Fee
- Regular Season runs early November - end of February
- End of season tournament early-March to mid-March
- Various locations – teams & practice schedules TBD
Travel Basketball (3rd – 6th Grade Boys & Girls)
- Most competitive play & higher skill level. Registration ends September 30th.
- $175 Registration Fee (must be paid in full at time of registration)
Players who do not make a travel team will be reimbursed $50 - Season begins early November
- Teams selected by evaluation
- Per league rules - you must reside in the Southern York County School District to be eligible for travel basketball
Travel Basketball (7th – 8th Grade Boys)
- Travel registration for students in 7th-8th grade will open in Mid-November. Please check back for updates at that time.
Challenger Basketball (Boys & Girls ages 4-18 with Special Needs - who live with physical or mental challenges)
- $30 Registration Fee. Registration ends mid-December.
- Open for participation outside of the Southern York County School District
- Season runs January - February
