How we got here
In the fall of 2015 SYC Baseball elected to charter with Little League. This decision was made after careful consideration and was voted upon by nearly thirty coaches, SYC Baseball Board members and SYC Youth Club officers, with 90% in favor of Little League affiliation. Each person voting had the opportunity to attend a meeting, hear a presentation and participate in a lengthy question-and-answer session with the Administrator for Pennsylvania District 14 Little League. Ultimately, a significant majority of voters felt that Little League had a great deal to offer the players and families of SYC Baseball and decided that affiliation would best serve the greatest number of families in our community.
