Live Drawing: June 6, 2021 (starting at 12noon & every 20 minutes)
Winner need not be present but must be able to be reached by phone on day of drawing to make your prize selection.
When a ticket/winner is selected, they have 20 minutes to select from the remaining prizes.
If they do not respond within the 20 minutes, the next ticket/winner is selected and they forfeit their ticket.

2021 - SYC Football Season

Divisions - Age by August 31, 2021

Smurf - 6 & first year 7 year old 
Rink - 7 & 8 year old 
Pony - 9 & 10 year old
Midget - 11 & 12 year old 

SYC Football is an instructional league that is for boys 6-12 years old as of August 31, 2021. Boys who turn 13 years of age as of August 31, 2021 are not longer eligible to play in the YCYFA league.

Players must reside in the Southern York County area in order to play for SYC Football. We are members of York County Youth Football Association. It is our goal as a program to have fun developing fundamental football skills, encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development.

Equipment Handout: 

1.     Equipment Handout @ Veterans Field (The Coop):  
  a.     Saturday, July 17th from 9-12 PM   
  b.     Saturday, July 24th from 9-12 PM 

2.     Included: helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey, practice pants and pads, and rib protectors, and limited girdle pads.  
  a.     Parents will need to purchase black padded pants and black socks - These pants can be worn for practice as well as games. 
  b.     Players will provide provide football cleats, protective cup, and mouthpiece.  

Game Day Jersey:

1. Game Day Jersey will be purchased and paid for through SYC Football registration: Cost $50 total. Returning players do not need to purchase a new jersey unless they need a new size.  
2.  Each player will wear black padded pants and black socks. Parents will be responsible for purchasing the padded black pants and black socks for their child. WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING PADDED PANTS THIS YEAR! However, we do have some gently used padded pants that have been donated and will be available at Equipment Pickup - first come first serve. 
4. We will have jerseys as well as padded pants available at Equipment Pick for your child to try on. 

Required Participation Forms: 

Each registering athlete is required to upload a copy of their Birth Certificate, a Medical Release Form, signed by a Physician, as well as proof of residency. Residency can be established and supported by a current 2020-2021 Southern York County School District report card or Southern York County School District Bus Stop Information only. This excluded home school, cyber schools; private schools. Example: if a child attends a school located in another county, but they reside in the Southern York County, then they would register as a player in the SYC Football Program.

Players CANNOT pick up their equipment until ALL forms are signed and uploaded.

1. Practice begins Monday, August 2nd. Practices will be Mon-Fri, 6-8 pm before school year begins. Once school begins, practice will be Mon-Thu, 3 evenings a week,
2. We will play 9 games during the season. Home games will be played on Saturday AM/PM or Sunday afternoons.

2021 SYC Cheerleading (Football)

Goal: the goal of the SYC Fall Cheerleading program is to provide an instructional recreation program for children 5 through 12 years of age. Our program supports the Southern York County Football program, cheering sidelines of all away and home season games. 

SYC Youth REC Warriors Cheerleading is now open for registration. Anyone that will be in Kindergarten through and including Grade 6 starting August 2021.

Practice will start August 10th at 6:30 pm and will end no later then 8 pm. Location to be announced.

Uniform fittings will be June 7th-13th. We will have time slots available to accommodate all families.  

Registration cost is $100, which includes our program fee, hair bow, trophy, and a small banquet fee. Also covers required facility usage, administrative and insurance costs of the youth club. A significant portion of the fee is also attributed to the uniform rental. If all uniform pieces are not returned by the cheerleader a the end of the season, you will be charged the balance of the uniform cost (total cost of all uniform pieces is approx $120 - the uniform fee within the registration cost is $40).

All uniform pieces will be provided as part of your rental fee except for the warmups. Warmups are paid for separately and can be retained by the cheerleader for subsequent years or for competitive cheerleading.

No Show white socks and KAEPA Cheer Shoes. We work with Flying Feet (Mt. Rose Ave, York PA) to obtain a discount on cheer shoes.

Learn or brush up on basic baseball skills, participate in drills, play games, build friendships and get active! All levels of experience are welcome! This camp will provide an introduction to Baseball for players that are new to the game to build basic skills and game knowledge and for players that are more experienced to improve their skills as well as learn new ones. The camp coaches will include coaches from SYC Baseball and Susquehannock High School baseball players. Note: There will be a maximum of 8-10 campers per coach.
 
The 2021 Baseball Summer Mini Camp is from June 21-24, 2021 from 9-12:00 noon.
 
Age Range:
Open to boys and girls in 3rd-8th grade (grade level as of Fall 2021)

Location: Windy Hill Large & Ebbets Field, Windy Hill Baseball Complex, 1020 Windy Hill Road, New Freedom PA

2021 Field Hockey (Fall)

Description:
The U9, U11 and U13 teams will play in the Central PA Youth Field Hockey League (CPYFHL) and will follow their program rules.
 
The K-2 program will be a clinic-style program where the players will learn the basic skills and gain knowledge of the game. They will play in-house scrimmages and potentially games with other local teams (examples: Hereford Rec League, Windsor Rec League, Carroll County Rec League). These scrimmages and games will follow the rules established in the CPYFHL for 7v7 games.

Note: There will be a maximum of 10-12 athletes per coach.
 
Age Groups / Fees:
$60 K-2 (2nd graders with no experience)
$160 U9 (under age 9 as of 9/1/21, 2nd graders with experience
$160 U11 (under age 11 as of 9/1/21)
$160 U13 (under age 13 as of 9/1/21)
Program fees include a uniform (reversible pinnie), a field hockey ball, other league/ref fees, administration/insurance and other general fees.
 
Location:
Practices at Susquehannock High School (SHS) and/or Miller Family Park, Miller Park Drive, Shrewsbury PA.
K-2 Program will play games/scrimmages at SHS and/or Miller Family Park.
U9, U11 and U13 will have games within the CPYFHL, including games as far as Mechanicsburg Turf Field at Solders & Sailors Memorial Park, Susquehanna Township HS Turf Field Stadium, Yellow Breeches, etc)
