Sponsors
The Lexington Soccer Association's goal is for each of our soccer teams to acquire yearly sponsors for the fall and spring soccer season. Sponsorship funds will greatly benefit the players on your teams. You may use your funds to:
- Purchase your own unique uniforms. You may add the names of your players on them. You will need to place the name of your sponsor on them as well. (Please keep Lexington colors). You must also place the LSA Logo on each uniform.
- Purchase equipment for practices and training. Many teams use field cones and flags to set up practice fields. Small popup goals are also very handy.
- Pay the registration fees for area tournaments.
- Fund end of season parties for your teams. Suggestions would include, going out for ice cream, having a pizza party, or taking your team to a drive in movie.
The LSA sponsorship fee is $300 per team for the year. This includes the fall and spring soccer season. $40 of your sponsorship fee will go to the LSA for miscellaneous expenditures. The remaining $260 will be placed into an account for your team. All team accounts will be managed by the LSA Treasurer. Accounts will be held open for one year from August to July. At the end of July, any money left in the account will roll over into the LSA’s general fund.
We would like for teams that do not have a sponsor to start looking for one. You may network with the parents of your players to locate prospective sponsors. Once your team has a sponsor, please register your sponsor and account by following these steps:
- Notify the LSA Treasurer of your teams sponsor. Include Team Name, Coach's Name, and Sponsors Name.
- Have sponsors complete and mail in a TEAM SPONSORSHIP FORM. Once the funds are received, your team account will be created.
- Keep all receipts of expenditures. You may mail the receipts to the LSA for reimbursement or contact the LSA Treasurer for other arrangements.
