Concussion Training Course

The Concussion Training Course trains coaches in identifying and managing players who may have received concussions during practice or game play.  Once the training is completed, each coach will be given a certificate of completion.  You may login to the NFHS Learning Center to receive a copy of your Certification or register and take the certification training.  Once logged in, select the “Concussion in Sports” Elective Course.  Please have a copy of your certification ready for your risk management application.  The Concussion Training Course only need to be take once, however Risk Management will need to be completed each year.  You may follow the link below to complete the Concussion Training Course.

Risk Management
​

Risk management is a simple background check conducted on each coach in the Lexington Soccer Association.  This has become a necessary process in the protection and safety of our players.  We are attempting to do everything possible to keep our players safe from harm!

Risk Management is mandated by our parent organizations and must be completed before any person is eligible to coach a soccer team.  This includes Coaches and Assistant Coaches.  Each coach and assistant must register for Risk Management and will not be eligible until approval.

How to register for Risk Management:

Step #1 Go to [RISK MANAGEMENT] login page.

Step #2 Click on the blue “Registration” tab at the top left.

Step #3 Use your parent/coach login and password.

This brings you to “1: Add Family Member” page of your family account. 

Step #4 Select “Continue” on bottom right.

This brings you to “2: Create Registration”

Step #5 Beside your name, select “Register as Coach/Admin”

Step #6 On the “Play Level” drop down, select “Background check”

Step #7 Complete all required information.

     At the bottom of the form you are asked to select your Primary Club.  Please select:

     “Lexington Youth Soccer Association – 01 (SID#6377191)

     Please leave Secondary Club and any additional club fields blank

     The last question is “What is the Expiration Date” of your Concussion Training, leave blank

     Select Save
