If a coach doesn’t return, our first priority is to keep the team together:
1. We will ask the team (if we have proper notice) if another existing member would be willing to step up and coach? If not…
2. We look through registrations of new players to see if any of their parents/guardians are interested in coaching or exsisting “co-coaches” that want to have a team of their own. If not…
3. We unfortunately have to split up the team. If we have to, we try to do it in as few “chunks” as we can. If we have 8 players without a team, we’ll look to put 4 on one team and 4 on another so that they have friends on that team.
Note* we do not take requests at the House (U6-U8) level. All placements are completely random. At the GLSL (U9-U18) we do allow requests. If you already registered and find out that a coaching change is happening, please email the club office at [email protected] from the email address on file with your request. Please make sure to note the player’s name in the request and we will update your registration.
