About Us

Stewards of the Game is an exciting and unique youth sports organization designed to serve kids in the Lake Norman Area (Huntersville, Cornelius, & Davidson). The cornerstone of this organization is our shared passion and belief that a first-rate, properly focused sports program can make a huge difference in kids' lives. Stewards of the Game will help build strong character in our young people, thereby paving the way for them to become leaders in their community, as well as role models for the next generation of kids.

Every successful youth sports program must provide each player the opportunity to become the best athlete that he is capable of becoming. As each individual is blessed with different abilities and talents, this implies providing fair, but not always the same opportunities, for each player to strive to achieve their personal best. Moreover, it is during the struggle to achieve this personal success that lasting life lessons like perseverance, self-confidence, and humility are learned. Stewards of the Game, or any youth sports program, can only build these important character traits and lasting life lessons within a framework that encourages and challenges each individual to become the best he/she is capable of becoming.
