Our Leadership
Stewards of the Game is primarily and proudly a volunteer organization with a huge army of over 150 coaches and other leadership servants. Our Board of Directors meets every other month to discuss and make decisions on matters of strategic importance to the future of Stewards of the Game and to ensure the organization stays true to its Vision, Mission, and Core Values. As our organization grew rapidly in its first 10 years, the Board voted to hire a full-time manager in February 2011 who serves as our Executive Director.

Casey Fitzsimons - Executive Director
Casey Fitzsimons currently serves as our Executive Director. Casey began serving Stewards of the Game as a volunteer t-ball coach in 2004 and has continued to coach both of his sons over the last decade. In 2011, the Stewards of the Game Board decided that is was crucial that it has a full-time director who could recruit, train, empower and lead its army of volunteers that make Stewards of the Game such a viable, successful organization. Casey's passion for evangelism and youth sports along with his years of experience leading large volunteer teams in multiple settings, led him to step forward and embrace the opportunity to lead Stewards of the Game.

Matt Fabin - Stewards H3 Academy Executive Director
Matt Fabin joined Stewards of the Game in an official capacity in April of 2019. Matt formerly served as Area Director of FCA serving athletes and coaches in the Lake Norman area. Prior to that Matt worked with NextGen Ministry Pastors across 6 states in the Southeast United States. He has a passion for leadership development, encouraging and empowering young men and women to become all that they were designed to be. The Power and influence of sports has greatly shaped his life and he is excited to use that same passion to lead H3 Academy in the Greater Charlotte Area.
