New YCTC/YCSC Sports Engine Registration Link
Dear YCTC Families,
To SAVE our families from a new $3 service fee on every registration (including on ALL our awesome FREE Programs), we are moving from Blue Sombrero to Sports Engine! Dick's has sold Blue Sombrero to Sports Connect. We appreciate all Dick's Sporting Goods has done over the years for the youth of our community while running the Blue Sombrero program. Families will need to set up a new account when registering from 1/17/2020 on (one time only). Soccer Program registrations are up and running with the new Sports Engine, and all other new YCTC registrations are in process.
YC Soccer Club Programs on new registration link:
- TOPSoccer - providing free soccer opportunities for any player with special needs and includes volunteer coaches and a “Buddy” for every attending players. (1st and only TOPS program in Yamhill County.) Additionally, we integrate all interested TOPSoccer players into our other programs, providing more friend and family connections, as well as, building empathy and a belief in inclusion for all our athletes.
- Free Toddler Fun time - providing an obstacle course and fun games for toddlers (and their parents/grandparents) to increase body and spacial awareness and provide a fun safe environment for young families to meet. Weekly March-October.
- Free Champions Club - provides after school activity year round at early release 1:30-3:30pm, where players from Kindergarten on up come together for fun creative play and mentorship.
- Free Get Up and Go Program - Obstacle course with prizes to encourage youth not involved in athletics to get active and have fun.
- Free Arena Drop-in - Scrimmage opportunities that combine players based on ability (not age) to challenge our younger players and offer an environment that inspires creative, skilled and confident players.
- Free Futsal - Drop in futsal training every winter.
- Free Timbers Camp/ free Coaches training - Annually we hold 4-6 events including a free Timbers Camp and free training sessions top National coaches available to all County wide (and beyond), all at no cost to layers, parents or coaches.
- Youth Job Experience - listed as “payroll/payroll relates” on the P & L for $2286., this program offers paid job experience for our most committed players. All players volunteer as assisting game managers first and then have option to take a leadership roll as a paid game manager.
- Community Tournaments - were we welcome all-comers K through Pro, creating teams each having members from Pro/semi-pro to elementary age.
- Small-sided Games Program - low cost youth soccer program (with scholarships available for any player/family in need) focusing on individual player agility, body awareness, coordination and soccer skill development. At $50/player, all funds received from this volunteer program are reinvested into club equipment, scholarship (both players and coaches training), and toward our new 7V7 pitch. This program will be part of our on-going fundraising towards maintenance of the completed 7V7 pitch.
- League play, both REC and COMP - teams practice local and cost is set only to cover league fees/uniform costs.
