Track & Field
YCIS Track is for middle school students 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and girls. The season runs from March through June. There are a variety of field and running events for participants to compete in. All athletes are encouraged to try new events and to have fun! Participation requirements include a sports physical, fees, and registration.
FIELD EVENTS: Long Jump, High Jump, Turbo Javelin, Shot put, and Discus
RUNNING EVENTS: 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash, 800m run, 1500m run, 4 x 100m relay, and 4 x 400m relay

Coaching Opportunities
We are always looking for parents/adult volunteers to help by coaching track and field. We hope you will consider helping our program by coaching or volunteering. For more information please see the coaching link on our home page.
When and Where are Meets?
Meets are typically held during the week at rotating Yamhill County Schools.
When and Where are Practices?
Practice times are determined by each team's head coach and will take place at the YCHS track.
Registration Fees
Registration Fees for Track & Field are $75 per athlete.
How do I Register?
If you already have an account with us, please click on log-in in the upper right hand corner. If you do not have a household account, please click on register. This will enable you to create a household account and you will then be able to receive emails from YCTC about upcoming registration and other important events. Payment is due at the time of registration (if mailing a check - is is due within one week) or your child will be placed on a waiting list until we receive payment.
What are the participation requirements?
All fees must be paid or payment plan agreed upon with the YCTC office staff. A sports physical is required for all Track & Field athletes.
