When we chose "Soccer for All" as our motto we really meant it. We have something to offer the four year old who looks quizzically at his first pair of shin guards to the eighteen year old who looks proudly at the college jersey she's worked so hard to earn… and every child in between.
We are proud of our 30 year heritage of developing soccer programs for Roanoke Valley youth of all ages, abilities and interest levels. We are a non-profit organization managed by a small team of soccer professionals, supported by a terrific team of volunteers.
Here are just a few of our current programs that are used to reach the local community. We hope to expand them even further in the upcoming year and beyond!
- Soccer Shots: an introduction to soccer program focusing on skill & character development for ages 2-7
- Star City Soccer Academy: an advanced program establishing skill & character development for ages 6-9
- Valley AFC Recreational Soccer: runs in conjunction with Roanoke County Parks & Rec to give children 6-18 an introduction to soccer
- Valley United Travel Soccer: for boys & girls ages 10+ to provide opportunity to develop & play at an advanced level, in a highly competitive yet supportive environment
- Valley AFC Indoor Soccer League: invites players from all clubs and experience levels to join forces & sharpen their skills over the winter season
And we even have things for "the kid at heart" with our adult programs!
