How to take the NFHS Student Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Course and get a certificate.

NFHS members will need to first log onto the site. 
Non NFHS members will need to first create a free account.
Start here  Select Indiana.
Then create an account (or sign into your account).

Once one has an account and are signed into one's account, then select the Student Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Course here.
Select Indiana, soccer, USAI.
Please allow to take the course.  Allow 35 minutes to take the course.  Note one must complete the evaluation to be able to download the certificate.
Please send certificate to USAI Director Travel Soccer.

If your instincts tell you that someone is in crisis and needs immediate help or if you believe that they are at imminent risk of hurting themselves, consider the following: 

• Stay with them while you assist them in getting help 
  
  
• Call 911
   
• Text START to 741-741 or call 1-800-273-TALK 
  
  
• Or bring them to the nearest medical Emergency Department, or, 
  
  
• If someone is agitated or potentially violent, avoid putting yourself in a personally dangerous situation. Call 911 instead of trying to bring them to the hospital on your own.
