Expectations and Buy Out

Revised 7/4/18, 7/13/18, 11/15/2021, 06/02/23

USA of Indiana works because its members regularly and robustly volunteer to operate all aspects of the Club.  The Club tracks Volunteer hours per player.  There is available a per season volunteer buy out for families not meeting the volunteer requirement.  The buyout may be paid before the season, during the season, or may be charged to the player’s account after the season.  Seasons are July through November and March through June.

Each Recreation player is expected to volunteer at least 3 hours during the season.
The volunteer requirement includes all Recreation players ages 1-25, in any of the Club’s Recreation, Rec Plus, Soccer Tots, and additional programs.
There is a $35 per season volunteer buy out for each Rec PLAYER not meeting the volunteer requirement.

Each U8-U15 Travel player is expected to volunteer at least 9 hours during fall season plus 6 hours during spring season.  This includes 3 fall Field Day hours, 3 hours during Indy Pike Fest, 3 hours during Indy Fusion Fall Classic, 3 spring Field Days hours and 3 hours during Indy Burn Cup.
Each Winter/Spring Travel U15-U19 player is expected to volunteer at least 3 hours during Indy Fusion Classic, plus 3 spring field day hours, plus 3 hours during Indy Burn Cup.
The volunteer requirement includes all Travel players ages 6-19 in any of the Club’s Travel divisions.
Volunteer for both field days and tournaments.
The proceeds from the Club's 3 tournaments is returned to travel players as more reasonable travel tuition.

There is a $150 per season buy out for each Travel PLAYER not meeting the volunteer requirement.
