East Central Soccer League
East Central Division of Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association is the league that Kiel plays competitive, or what some clubs call "Select". There are many expectations on the clubs, referees, coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, players and parents that set this program a step up from playing local YMCA soccer.
East Central Rules and Regulations 2021
Games in East Central need to be played, you must do everything to play your scheduled games! In the event of a school event that will take more than half your team, you may contact the local Field Scheduler and Referee Assignor to let them know you need to reschedule a specific game. You will then reach out to the other coach to start the process of discussing alternated dates and times. You need to fill out the reschedule form and submit it. Communication and follow through are key to making this work.
Games that get called due to weather come from the home club. If the weather looks like it will be dangerous during your game, reach out to the home team to see what they are thinking before driving the distance to find out the game is going to be cancelled. If we are the home team, check with the scheduler to see what the Kiel Soccer Club is thinking. Once teams are at the fields for a game, weather issues become the referees decision.
This is a competitive league, scores are kept and logged. Referees keep track of the score during the game, coaches from both teams sign the score card, the winning coach receives the game day report and is responsible for entering the score. Prior to the season you will receive an email with a score keeper code to enter scores.
