Scope:

AYSO Invitational – open to AYSO teams that have placed 1st (first) or 2nd (second) in a qualified AYSO tournament in the 2016/2017 season. ( MUST provide proof)

When:

Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 9-11, 2017 – Rain or Shine

Where:

The tournament will be held at Brewster Park in Apple Valley, California. There is a $5 charge for parking. No pets are allowed at fields. No parking on grass and all cars must be parked head first.

Who:

AYSO boys and girls teams that have placed First or Second in an AYSO tournament in age divisions:U-19 (11 v 11) 18 players max, U-16 (11 v 11) 18 players max, U-14 (11v11) 15 players max. U-12 (9v9) 12 players max and U-10 (7v7) 10 players max. All players must be registered to play in the AYSO 2016 primary season. Guest players will be allowed (3 maximum per team). Co-ed teams will be accepted in boys’ divisions only.

What:

Pool play tournament. Each team will be guaranteed 3 pool play games (forfeit wins included)Pool winner will play for 1^st/ 2^nd. Pool runner’s up will play for 3^rd/4th.All games will be as follows:70 min. for U-19/U-16, 60 min for U-14/U-12, and 50 min for U-10.

Why:

The Inaugural Coyote Champions Cup Tournament is being conducted as a fundraiser by Region 665 to raise funds for field maintenance costs, primary season scholarships, and coach and referee training, as well as start up costs for the 2018 National Games.

Awards:

All players and 2 coaches per team will receive a tournament pin.Teams that are fully registered by May 27^th deadline will receive a tournament t-shirt. All players on the 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, & 4^th place teams will receive a medal.

Entry Fee, Refunds:

$450 for U19/U-16, $425 for U-14/ U-12, and $425 for U-10. A full refund will be issued if tournament is canceled. **Rain or Shine tournament***.If a team withdraws 20 or more days before the tournament, a full refund is given. Within 20 days of the tournament, no refund is provided unless a replacement team is found.

Referee Fee, Refunds:

$250 per team, refundable within 14 days of the tournament, if referee assignments have been completed.Each team is asked to provide a qualified 3-person referee team to cover 3 games during the tournament. Partial refunds will not be given based upon the number of game slots completed. Referee assignments must be completed in total to receive a refund. WE WANT YOUR BEST REFEREES!

Acceptance:

The application deadline is May 27th, 2017. All teams will be notified within 48 hrs of receipt of application as to their status. Teams that are not accepted will be given the option to have their complete application returned or to be placed on the waiting list.

Team entry applications and all necessary forms are available on the tournament website.
Please send 1 Region check that covers both the Entry and Referee fees, along with the tournament application, proof of placing in a qualified tournament, referee information form, (Please ensure all volunteers have an updated Safe Haven and CDC concussion date on their form) and an eayso team roster to the Tournament Registrar address below.Regional commissioner must sign application and team roster.
