INFORMATION FOR LEAGUE TEAMS CONTINUING TO AREA PLAYOFFS

Teams will be invited to participate in post season play based on the tournament held within each Division.  To be eligible for post play, the team must meet the required amount of referee points.  The document detailing referee points was given to all coaches at the coach meeting and emailed with the referee schedules.  It can also be found by clicking here.  
End of Fall season tournament to determine which teams will represent Region 665 in post season play. 

Point Information
Points will be awarded as follows.
6 pts. for a win
3 pts. for a tie
1 pt per goal difference (up to 3 goals)
1 pt for shut out
*** Top losing team to be determined by least goals allowed, then goals for.
Points to be deducted for any yellow (1 pt) card or red (3 pts) card issued to a team.
If a tie still exists, teams will take kicks from the spot, until there is a winning team.
All games will follow the regional guidelines for the ¾ play rule as well as all AYSO rules of play.Any team found in violation of the rules will forfeit their game and their opponent will be deemed the winner, and will advance.

Teams failing to complete their referee duty during regional playoffs will not advance.
These rules apply to all regional, area and sectional playoff games.

All stars will be selected using a try out process instead of the draft process used previously.  The information can be found by clicking here or in our Regional Guidelines,  The try out dates will be announced at the beginning of the Fall season.
