Everything You Need to Know about Registering for AYSO

Registration


HOW DO I SIGN-UP TO PLAY IN AYSO?

Registration is a 2 step process.  Complete the registration form online then bring 2 copies of the completed form to a registration event along with payment.  We accept cash, checks or credit cards (for an additional processing fee). Unfortunately we are unable to accept fees online.  The fees must be paid in person at one of our registration events.  Please check the calendar for upcoming registration events.

WHAT IS eAYSO

eAYSO, is an easy to use, online registration system that expedites your registration process through electronic submission of your inputted registration information. eAYSO eliminates the hassle of handwriting a form annually because you sign up on-line once; then you’re able to register and alter all of your players, and/or volunteers in a few clicks under one username. It takes roughly 3 minutes to enter the required information for one player or volunteer. Your e-mail address is your username and you pick your own password. You input the information, submit it, and it is received and stored in the National & Regional systems within seconds!

Steps for using eAYSO

New player/volunteer:

·         Go to https://www.eayso.org/  

·         Click on “My child is new to AYSO and wants to play soccer” or if only volunteering, “I am new to AYSO and want to volunteer”. Both options will allow you to register a player and or volunteer.

·         Once you are a member of eAYSO, you can always log back in, change your information, add new players, modify player information, become a volunteer, or modify volunteer information.

Current or previous AYSO members:

·         Go to https://www.eayso.org/

·         Click on “My child has played AYSO, but we never have used eAYSO”.

·         Fill in the required information (The telephone number will be the number you used for previous seasons.)

·         Once your information is retrieved, all you will need to do is update your information.

·         If your information is not retrieved, follow the steps above for “New to AYSO

**Because eAYSO does not accept payments, your registration WILL NOT be complete. Your printed application and fees MUST be brought to a registration event.

What to bring to the registration event

·         Your 3 printed eAYSO forms

·         The registration fee

·         Proof of age (Birth certificate, passport, insurance card, etc. with date of birth of child)

·         If you are volunteering, please bring your driver's license and the names, addresses, and phone numbers of two personal references.

 SIGN UP IN PERSON AT A REGISTRATION EVENT

NEW PLAYERS:

·         Pick up and complete a blank registration form for each player you are registering

RETURNING PLAYERS:

·         Pick up and review the preprinted registration form for each returning player you are registering. Change any information as necessary

ALL PLAYERS

·         Visit the registrar's table to have your registration form and proof of date of birth reviewed.

·         Visit the appropriate division table for your child and have the coordinator review the form and get information regarding the upcoming season. (If applicable)

·         If Volunteering: visit the volunteer table, with your preprinted eAYSO volunteer form or complete the volunteer registration form. The number of teams we can have is limited by the number of volunteers we have. Don't assume that someone else will be coaching or refereeing your child. WE NEED YOU!

·         Go to the cashier table and pay registration fee by check, cash, money order, or credit/debit card for each player you are registering. Make your check payable to AYSO 665, be sure your address is correct on the check, and include your phone #.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SIGN UP?

WHAT DO THE FEES INCLUDE?

·         A quality uniform consisting of a jersey, shorts and socks;

·         Secondary insurance through the AYSO National organization;

·         A photo package including individual photos of your child and a team photo;

·         A ten-week game season (games that are canceled may not be rescheduled);

WAIT LIST

The region occasionally runs out of available playing spots after the July Registration. In the case this happens, your application will be placed on a wait-list and no money will be collected until you are contacted about an available spot on a team.

WHAT DIVISION AM I IN?

Registration Age Breakdown

To help in determining the proper age and division for players, the following chart is provided. Excerpts of two portions of the AYSO Rules and Regulations that pertain to this matter are:

Article III(B):

The effective date of age determination shall be the player's age as of July 31 immediately prior to the start of the membership year as defined in Article V. Players who have reached the age of four years as of this date are eligible to participate in the program. Players who are nineteen years of age or older as of this date are not eligible to participate.

Article V:

The period of official membership shall be from August 1 through the following July 31 each year.

The following chart applies for the next official membership year, which starts August 1, 2016 and concludes July 31, 2017, and is based on the age groupings in AYSO's Rules and Regulations Article III. Any player whose birth date falls on or between these dates should be placed in the designated division.
