Bill Stara is currently the Director of Education for the Broomfield Soccer Club. Bill is returning to Broomfield where he started as the Director of the Recreational program four years ago before taking a position with Colorado Soccer Association for the past two years as the Assistant Director of Coaching.
Bill Started his coaching career as a high school coach in Columbia Maryland where he won 14 state championships, seven at Centennial H.S. and seven at River Hill H.S. bill also complied an impressive club-coaching resume where he took four different teams to the National Championship game. The Columbia KICK won the US Youth Soccer U16 Boys National championship in 1982. In 1985 the Columbia Jays won the prestigious U19 National Championship the McGuire Cup.
After his success at the club level, Bill coached one year on the professional level before taking on the position of Technical Director for Soccer Association of Columbia and then the Loudon Soccer club. In 2008 Bill became the Technical Director for Maryland State Youth soccer where he was in charge of coaching education and ODP.
Bill is currently an instructor for US Soccer, US Youth Soccer and USC as a Goalkeeper Instructor (formally the NSCAA).
