Does my child have to try out?

It depends on the Program you are interested in. Our Recreational Micro (U6-U8) and Recreational (U8-U15) Programs your child does NOT have to tryout. They are structured and designed purely for the enjoyment of the sport. For our competitive level Academy (U7-U12) & Select (U13-U19) Programs, your child is REQUIRED to attend tryouts in order to be eligible for selection. What locations do you offer?

We offer soccer programs in Savannah and Wilmington Island with the direction and leadership of our professional soccer organization and full time staff.   

What program does my child fit into (by age)?

Early Goals (Toddlers): 30 months to 3 years old   (For Spring 2020 this is players born between 01/01/2016-03/01/2017)
Recreational (Micro) Program: 3 years old to 7 years old   (For Spring 2020 this is players born between 2012-2015)
Recreational Program: 8 years old to 15 years old (For Spring 2020 this is players born between 2005-2011)
Academy/Select**: 7 years old to 18 years old    (For Fall 2019 / Spring 2020 this is players born between 2001-2014)

We have made the registration process as easy as possible. Simply create an account and add your child(ren) as participants, and our system will automatically show you the available programs according to their age.

What is the schedule for the season? 

For Recreational Soccer fall season runs from September through November and spring season runs from March through May. Team practice is held once a week, Monday through Thursday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Games take place on Saturdays at Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex, eight (8) goals total each season.

The Academy Program runs from August - December in Fall Seasons and January - May in Spring Seasons. You can find the latest version of the schedule in the 'Document Center' on our website. There is travel associated with Academy Soccer, which works out to be approx 60% home events and 40% away events. The distance traveled depends on the level of the team. Like any sport, our most competitive teams must travel a little further to find an equal level of competition. For out of town festivals we try and stay within a 2 our radius and for tournaments we try to stay within a 4 hour radius.

The Select Program runs on a similar timeline as the Academy Program. August - December in Fall Seasons and January - May in Spring Seasons. Select Teams participate in the Georgia Soccer State Classic (Boys) & Athena (Girls) Leagues. If a team performs well in the State Leagues or State Cup Competitions, they may earn a place in the Region III Premier League. Further Information on these leagues can be found HERE

After you have logged in, click on "My Account" to add a child as a participant. You will see the various programs, camps and activities available for his or her age group.
