Sarah Norton
Sarah is a certified Concept 2 UCanRow2 instructor and avid tennis player, and Pilates enthusiast, She discovered the sport of rowing through her daughter who was a member of a varsity youth crew team. After serving as team mom and board member, she learned to row and became a competitive masters sweep rower. Sarah co-founded LKN Indoor Rowing with Carla Jenkins and Eileen O'Flaherty. Sarah is now focused on perfecting her sculling technique and introducing others to the joys of rowing. Sarah teaches Learn-to-Scull and is available for private erg sessions.

Eileen O'Flaherty
Eileen is a certified Concept 2 UCanRow2 instructor. She learned to row on The Banks of the Raritan as a member of the Rutgers University varsity women's crew team. After a 25+ year hiatus from the sport, she became a masters rower and board member of North Carolina Community Sailing & Rowing and then its spin-off organization, North Charlotte Rowing. Unable to continue training with the team following its relocation to Belmont, she co-founded LKN Indoor Rowing with Carla Jenkins and Sarah Norton. Recognizing the tremendous impact rowing has had in her life and the lives of her three children, Eileen is passionate about introducing the sport to others, especially adaptive athletes. Championships: 3rd Women's Light Varsity 8+ Eastern Association of Women's Rowing Colleges (EAWRC) 1982. Eileen teaches Learn-to-Scull and private erg sessions. Contact Eileen at [email protected]
Steve SchreinerSteve, owner of Schreiner Design, is a former Purdue University oarsman. Following graduation, he has remained involved with all aspects of rowing, including designing and building his own ergometer. Steve is a USRowing Level 2 Certified Coach and has been involved with numerous rowing programs including the startup of the Cincinnati Rowing Center in 1982 and organizing the first National Rowing Championship in 1983. Since moving to the Charlotte area in 1987, he was also involved with a small group of former college rowers that ultimately competed in the NC State Games and Head of the Potomac. Steve has been an avid sculler since 1995 and has competed in numerous regional rowing regattas. Contact Steve at [email protected]
