Hello Volleyball Enthusiasts!
I know this year has been trying for us all in regard to playing opportunities, so I want to introduce to you a new program that a few of my colleagues and I have created called Unified Empire Volleyball Academy.
Right before the pandemic hit, my colleagues and I sat down and began to brainstorm an additional service that we could provide to NYS athletes, coaches, and clubs. The idea was born in which we would create a grass-roots program to help develop and train athletes from across the state together and ultimately assist them in their search for the right college fit. We believe NYS athletes are talented enough to compete at any collegiate level, thanks to the many coaches and clubs in our state, and we want to help them achieve their dreams!
With the geography of our state being so large, it becomes challenging for athletes to travel long distances frequently. Through UEVA, we have developed a system to help the best athletes come together to train during the summer and off-seasons from high school or club. In our first step to accomplish this, we are providing a traveling Clinic Series this summer for volleyball athletes at many locations across the state.
Locations and Dates:
July 23rd - SUNY New Paltz (New Paltz, NY)
July 28th - Tri-County Sports Complex (Macedon, NY)
August 1 - Binghamton Bulldogs Sports Complex (Binghamton, NY)
August 2 - SUNY Geneseo (Geneseo, NY)
August 3 - Jefferson Community College (Watertown, NY)
August 7 - Elmira College BOYS' CLINIC (Elmira, NY)
August 8 - Elmira College (Elmira, NY)
August date for Russel Sage College in Albany TBD
** All dates indicate a girls' clinic except for August 7 **
Each of these clinics will provide the following:
- 6 hours of high-level skills and system training
- Approach, Block Jump, & pro agility shuttle verifications for recruiting
- Entrance into our recruiting database to be sent to college coaches across the country
- A purposeful recruiting question & answer session
- Training from the following coaches:
- Hunter Drews, Head Coach of SUNY Geneseo
- Dakota Pruiss, Head Coach of Alfred University
- Grace Campbell, Graduate Assistant, Smith College
- Jessica Fowler, SUNY Oneonta Alumna '20
- Additional coaching cadre and collegiate guest clinicians per each event!

- Winter Holiday Clinic - top 40 athletes identified in Summer 2021: (December 2021)
- UEVA Elite Camp - top 60 athletes identified in Summer 2021: (July 2022)
- UEVA Excelsior Camp - Athletes ranked 61-150 identified in Summer 2021: (July 2022)
- UEVA Empire Camp - Open to any athlete who attends a 2021 Clinic (July 2022)
