About the Cheer Program

Cheer at Visitation is open to all girls and boys from kindergarten to 8th grade.

Preseason Camp

The season will begin with a week long Preseason Camp in the beginning of August
Camp will be Monday to Friday from 5:30-7:30pm
A week-long focused camp allows our coaches to teach a majority of the cheers and routines so that practices can be limited to just once a week during the season
We strive to limit practice times to allow cheerleaders to participate in other Fall sports

Practice Commitment

All practices will be once a week
K-2 practices - 45 minutes long
3-5 practices - 1 hour long
6-8 practices - 1 hour and 15 minutes long

Weekend Commitment

Each participant will cheer for 1 game per weekend
Cheer at the Blue & Orange Night in the Fall
Any end of season tournaments
If there is enough interest, a competition may be considered during the season

$60 Registration Fee Includes:

Uniform (returned at the end of the season)
Pom poms for game use
Undergarments and hair bows (get to keep)

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for Coaches and Assistant Coaches, no experience is necessary. If interested, please reach out to the Cheer Commissioner.
