About the Golf Program

Sign-ups for the Fall season are now open until Saturday, May 3. 

  • Visitation Golf is open to all girls and boys from 5th to 8th grade.
  • Registration Fee: $30, optional additional $25 for a golf shirt
  • Players are required to pay a course fee at EACH match which is typically around $10 to $13
  • Practices start in July
  • Season runs from the end of July through the 1st week of October. We can accommodate kids playing other Fall sports. 
League
  • Visitation plays in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) which is split into 3 divisions - Varsity, Junior Varsity and Instructional/Developmental

Varsity & Junior Varsity (JV)
  • Play approximately 14 matches at various courses
  • Playing rules followed with penalties assessed
  • Players must attend tryouts and qualify for the Varsity or Junior Varsity teams

Instructional/Developmental Team
  • Approximately 8 to 10 matches played at Robin's Nest
  • Rules more simplified and forgiving
  • No tryout required
  • We recommend this division if your child has not played before. 
  • This is a great league for all grades to play. We do our best to organize the teams by grades, friends and coach requests. You can request friends to be on the same team. 

Tryouts for Varsity & Junior Varsity
  • Tryouts are tentatively scheduled between May 10 and May 18 at Robins Nest
  • Tryouts will be held at Robins Nest and will cost approximately $10 per round. 
  • If your child is planning to compete in the Varsity or JV leagues, they must have a minimum of two 9-hole scores at Robins Nest WHITE tees during qualified tryouts
  • If room/time allows, they may tryout up to three times.

Parent Participation and Volunteer Opportunities
  • Parents will be required to attend and walk along with their child for at least 2 to 3 matches
  • We are always in need of a Coordinator for each team, SafeParish training required but no golf experience necessary
