Volunteer Background & Safety Clearances
All on-field volunteers (coaches, assistant coaches, managers, and anyone working directly with players) must complete required Little League International (LLI) and Pennsylvania State background and safety clearances.
⚠️ All clearances must be completed and approved before your first practice.

How to Complete Each Requirement
Little League International (Completed Every Year)

Pennsylvania State Clearances
4. PA Background Affidavit OR FBI Fingerprinting
If you have lived in Pennsylvania continuously for the past 10 years, complete the PA Background Affidavit found HERE.
If not, complete FBI fingerprinting through Keep Kids Safe PA found HERE.
5. PA State Police Criminal History Check (Free)
Complete online HERE.
Save your results.
6. PA Child Abuse Clearance (Free)
Submitting Your Documents
Once complete, upload all four documents together to the CLL PA Clearances Upload Form that is found HERE:
✔ PA Background Certification or FBI Fingerprinting
✔ PA State Police Criminal History Check
✔ PA Child Abuse Clearance
✔ LLI Abuse Awareness Training Certificate
⚠️ Please submit only when all four documents are complete.
Important Notes
PA clearances completed for employment (ex: teachers) may be submitted, but do not replace Little League requirements.
LLI Background Check (JDP) and Abuse Awareness Training are required every year and must be approved before any volunteer may work with players.
