General Information
Fall Ball offers full teams and individuals who love the game of baseball an extension of the season to maintain and further develop skills. 3B has available 6 fields for game play, provides 2 trained umpires/game, and prepares the fields before game time. We offer full concessions and access to restrooms for players and spectators. All games are held at White Park at the corner of Douglas Road and Consear Road in Lambertville, Michigan.
Full team registration is STRONGLY recommended; however, 3B baseball also accepts individual player registration. All attempts will be made to ensure placement on a team, pending availability. Individual players will be held in a pool until a team is formed and a coach can be assigned to the team. If there are not enough players to form a team, or there is not a coach for the "individual" team, then the pool of players will receive a refund prior to the first game. In the event that space is not available, please come join us for our spring season when we are able to guarantee placement on a recreational league team.
Fall registration is open to all teams, which offers varying levels of competitive play from seasoned travel teams to higher level recreation teams looking to stay together and play together for an extended season. All players must register via the 3B website to ensure that consent forms and waivers have been signed and submitted. A prompt will be provided to indicate which team/coach you belong to or if you need placement onto a team.
Registration for Fall Ball opens in July and closes approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of the season. Games start the first weekend after Labor Day and end the last weekend of October, which consists of a total of 8 games. Practices begin in August, but are ultimately at the discretion of individual coaches. This includes decisions on the quantity of practices, timing of practices, location of practices, and also uniform selection. Games are held on Saturdays for the Minor League Divisions, 11u and lower and Sundays for the Major League Divisions, 15u and lower.
Player fees pay for maintenance of fields, utilities for facility usage, insurance coverage, and umpire fees. Teams are responsible for providing their own uniforms. Most teams use their in-season uniforms, while others may opt to purchase a team coordinated hat and shirt to accompany any pants already in possession of the player.
Age Cutoffs are age as of May 1st of the current year.
