Kansas Rush is excited to announce its partnership with RISE, an app based interactive training program, to keep our players training at home during this time. We encourage you to share videos and pictures of your training sessions through social media by tagging us and using #KSRUSH #RUSHROLLSON #RUID Here is how to get started… 1. Download the RISE Elite Soccer App from the App Store - https://appsto.re/us/AKRIjb.i 2. Create a new account if you do not currently have the RISE App. If you are a child under the age of 13, please use the parents email and birthday when registering to ensure all communication runs through the parent. 3. When instructed to enter a TEAM CODE use the code: KRUHEP This will unlock the bottom 5 modules of the app and all the associated supplemental workouts for each module. 4. Get started using the workouts! Progressing to More Challenging Workouts: The first phase of each workout is fairly basic and designed for younger players or players just getting started with training. For your more advanced players, if they watch the video, perform the exercise and give themselves a rating of 4 stars for each exercise in a workout, the next phase of the workout will be unlocked. Unlocking all 3 phases of two adjacent modules will unlock the module above them in the next level - this is how advanced players can progress to more challenging workouts. Players can always go back to the previous phase by clicking the PHASE 1 tab at the top of each workout overview screen. Using the Supplemental Workouts: When at the workout overview screen, players can scroll down (viewing all the exercises in that phase) and at the bottom they will see a list of SUPPLEMENTAL WORKOUTS. Click on any of these workouts to dig deeper into training programs for that specific skill. Here is how I would usually instruct someone to progress… WEEK 1: Day 1: Enter the BALL CONTROL module and perform the Phase 1 workout Day 2: Enter the SPEED STRENGTH module and perform the Phase 1 workout Day 3: Enter the PASSING module and perform the Phase 1 or Supplemental 1 workout (depending on if you have a wall to pass against) Day 4: Enter the QUICKNESS module and perform the Phase 1 workout. Day 5: Enter the GENERAL STRENGTH module and perform the Phase 1 workout. For players looking for longer workouts, we recommend mixing some of the drills from the QUICKNESS Phase 1 workout with the GENERAL STRENGTH workouts. WEEK 2: Day 1: Enter the BALL CONTROL module and perform one of the Supplemental Workouts Day 2: Enter the SPEED STRENGTH module and perform Supplemental Workouts Day 3: Enter the PASSING module and perform the Phase 1 or one of the Supplemental Workouts Day 4: Enter the QUICKNESS module and perform Supplemental Workouts. Day 5: Enter the GENERAL STRENGTH module and perform Supplemental Workouts. WEEK 3: By this time, you should have experienced some of the different workouts, and we would suggest going back and trying to work through some of your favorites. As you perform an exercise, make sure you give yourself a RATING on how you performed the skill or exercise. If all exercises in a workout are 4 STARS a more challenging version of the exercise will be unlocked. Progress through the program and focus on perfecting each skill or exercise before you move on.
