The Athena (girls U13 & up) and Classic (boys U13 & up) programs are for players interested in a highly competitive level of soccer. Emphasis will be on advancement of soccer skills to a level which prepares the player for elite programs such as summer regional league, collegiate, semi- professional and professional soccer. Athena and Classic team participation requires a one-year commitment including a Fall and Spring season.

Team Camp
Mark your calendars now! There is a 5 day, 3 hour per day, mandatory Academy/Select Team Camp (U09-U19) for all players, from July 25th through July 29th. Times for each particular age group will be posted on the website early July. The sessions will run from either 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm or 5pm-8pm, depending on field availability and coaching commitments. The registration fee does now includes the $90 Select Team Camp fee and separate online registration is not required.
Practices
- Professional coaching (paid Community Coach) for all training sessions, practices and games
- Volunteer Team Manager
- Two 1 ½ hours per week practices (1 extra hour for Elite/Red teams/$100 extra per season per player)
Games
- Inter-league games scheduled by Georgia Soccer
- U13 and up teams play 11 v 11 sided games
Fees
- U08-U12: $600 per year ($200 registration fee/$100 coaching fee per season)
- U13-U14: $600 per year ($200 registration fee/$100 coaching fee per season)
- U15 and up: $300 for Fall Season (No Spring soccer due to high school soccer season)
- Some U15 and up teams may elect to participate in tournaments after the high school season is over. This would come at additional cost.
Notes:
(1) U8-U19 will have a payment plan option of 3 monthly installments each season.
(2) If you register after August 2, your number of monthly installments may be reduced so all fees are paid by November 1 of the Fall season and April 1 of the Spring Season.
(3) Fee may change based upon coaching assignment.
Additional Fees
- Optional Third practice with your own professional coach (one hour): $100 per season
- Turf or rubber-soled shoes are required for practices, in order to preserve the fields for games. Cleats may be used for games
- Tournament fees are shared by all team members, regardless of individual participation
Georgia State Soccer Association offers a U15-U19 Athena and Classic - Short Friendly Season in the Spring. Teams have the option to participate.
Registration Fee includes: Georgia Soccer registration and insurance, referee costs (which are higher for U15 and up), coaching education, field usage, league administration, professional training and coaching and uniform kit.
