What is the Challenger Division?
Challenger is a specialized segment of Little League Baseball catering to children aged 5-18 or up to 22 if still enrolled in school, facing physical and/or intellectual challenges that may impede their participation in traditional baseball programs. The game structure is designed to facilitate the success of all players, emphasizing enjoyment and skill development in baseball.
How Does the Challenger Division Operate?
In Challenger games, scores are not tallied, and every player bats each inning. Additionally, each player is paired with a trained buddy whose role is to prioritize safety and ensure the player's success on the field. Online registration is available for Challenger players, making it accessible and convenient for interested participants.
