HLLA Baseball is for boys from ages 6-16.

Farm League - Ages 7-8
Farm League is a "coach-pitch" division of baseball and is intended for those players league age 7-8 (consult the official little league age chart above for more details). In rare cases, HLLA sometimes will move players who are league age 6 into this division if there are circumstances which make this the right choice. The decision on where to place a player is solely at the discretion of the HLLA board in consultation with the parents, coaches, and league coordinators.
HLLA typically fields 6 or more teams in the farm division. These teams practice approximately twice a week during the pre-season starting in early March. They typically play two games a week during the season up through the first week of June.
Teams are selected by coaches in a draft format. To properly assess each player's skill level, we ask that after registering you bring them to the skills evaluation.
After the draft, you will be contacted by your coach about when practices will start.
Minor League - Ages 9-10
The Minor League division of baseball is intended for those players league age 9-10, (consult the official little league age chart link above for more details). In rare cases, HLLA sometimes will move players who are league age 11 or league age 8 into this division if there are circumstances which make this the right choice. The decision on where to place a player is solely at the discretion of the HLLA board in consultation with the parents, coaches, and league coordinators.

Major League - Ages 11-12
The Major League division of baseball is intended for those players league age 11-12 (consult the official little league age chart link above for more details). In practice, HLLA places some players who are league age 11 into our Minor League division if they have not had much experience playing baseball before or there are other circumstances which make this the right choice. The decision on where to place a player is solely at the discretion of the HLLA board in consultation with the parents, coaches, and league coordinators.

Junior League - Ages 13+
The Intermediate or 50/70 division (Juniors) of baseball is intended for those players league age 13+. This year HLLA will field one team in this division and that team will play games against intermediate teams from the surrounding areas. Home games are on Field 3 at Purcell Park (the back of the two fields on the side of Black's Run nearest the Hillside Ave. parking lot).
