Referee Training

Basic Referee Course

For all new Referees

To become a referee, please do the following 4 steps.:

Step 1:  Create a Volunteer Form at EAYSO.ORG.  Select Adult / Youth, New / Returning volunteer.
              Be sure an record your AYSO ID.
              NO ONLINE TRAINING OR CLASSES CAN BE TAKEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE A VOLUNTEER FORM.

Step 2:  Go to AYSOTRAINING.ORG.  You will need your AYSO ID to log in.
             Take the following classes.
                SAFE HAVEN - about 30 minutes.  Required every two years.
                CONCUSSION AWARENESS - about 30 minutes.
                BASIC REFEREE ONLINE TRAINING - several hours.
              ALL ONLINE COURSEs MUST BE TAKEN PRIOR TO THE COMPANION COURSE

Step 3:  Attend Companion Course.
             Attend ONE of the following sessions
             
              All companion courses have been completed.



Step 4:  Register as a Referee at http://www.cgisports.com/ref/5189/.
             Select Register as a referee now
             If you are new, your badge is Regional
             For Team #, Select the team(s) you intend to give your points to. 


 

 

Intermediate Referee Course

For Regional Referees upgrading to the U12 Division

Region 39 - Intermediate Referee Class
  Roster #201604807
  Part 1 - Sunday September 11,  8 am sharp until approximately 4 pm
  Part 2 - Wednesday, September 14,  6:30 pm sharp until approximately 10 pm
  BOTH PARTS ARE REQUIRED!
  Held at the Region 39 office.  1802 Eastman Ave, Suite 113, Ventura, CA 93003

 


Advanced Referee Course

For Intermediate Referees upgrading to the U14 Division
