Field #2 is open for baseball

The sinkhole on Field #2 was repaired over the weekend. The field is open for full use as of August 2, 2020.
Sorry for the delayed notice of the repair.

It was found that an old channel or stream bed was beneath the field. With the high water table next to the river the soil under a large rock (small boulder) was washed out over time lowering the boulder. The soil finally gave away dropping to the level of the boulder. The immediate and surrounding area was excavated to solid ground and filled in and seeded.
