- Q. How do I register my kid for a sport?
Please check each sport activity webpage for their respective registration information. There you will find registration links, fees, schedule times, eligibility requirements, practice schedules, volunteer info, etc..
- Q. What are the fees?
The fees vary per sport per season. As a non-profit, our program is not here to make money but to provide a good and fun environment for local children of all skill levels to learn fundamental sport skills along with life lessons in sportsmanship, spirituality and service to others.
- Q. When will my Spartan gear order arrive?
Orders are sent directly to our vendor. Typically turn around time is 30+ days after the gear store has closed. Any issues with an order please contact the vendor from your confirmation email to help resolve the issue.
- Q. What does it mean to be eligible?
For your child to be eligible, he/she must comply with 1 of these 3 requirements. The athletic director will verify eligibility during registration to make sure all players comply and are not in violation of CYO bylaw athletic manual.
• Enrolled as a student of St. Edward School, or
• Enrolled in St. Edward Parish Faith Formation, or
• Reside within the St. Edward Parish boundaries. Check here.
- Q. What are the 3 documents I need if my child is not a St. Edward student or not part of faith formation?
1) Upload a copy of Birth Certificate if you are a new player
2) Upload a picture of your address from the diocese tool map
3) Upload a copy of current utility bill showing address within the St. Edward boundary
- Q. What if I don't have a utility bill (gas, water, waste, or electric) under my name?
A morgage statement, bank statements, and/or a CDL can also be provided as additional proof of residency of your physical address.
- Q. Player prioritization?
St. Edward students have registration priorties during the team declaration process. The AD will do the best they can to get players onto a team before non-St. Edward participants.
- Q. Where can I get the uniforms?
Uniforms are purchased early in the season and typically arrive before the first game of the season. You are more than welcome to re-use the seasons previous uniforms unless there are issues with non-matching or discontinued jersey designs from our 3rd-party vendor.
- Q. What color shirt can I wear under my uniform?
All clothing worn under team uniforms should match the main color of the uniform. (e.g. white t-shirt under our white basketball uniform, or dark blue t-shirt under our navy blue volleyball uniform)
- Q. Do I have to pay for uniforms?
No, but you will need register as soon as you can to receive uniforms on time before league play.
- Q. When does practice start and what days?
Please check each sport activity webpage for their respective practice times or contact your coach.
- Q. When are games?
Most season games are played on weekends with some late evening games on Friday depending on gym availability. This excludes speical tournaments, playoffs and championship games.
- Q. Can my daughter play on the boys basketball program?
Yes, but if your daughter played for the CYO Boys basketball program in the fall of the current school year, then she is not eligible to play for the winter CYO Girls basketball program the same school year.
- Q. Do you offer refunds?
There are no full refunds for CYO participants. If the season game opener has not started yet for the sport activity than a 50% refund is allowed. Once the first game of the season has started there are no refunds after that start date. For additional information please contact your athletic director.
- Q. How can I volunteer to coach or help the program?
