About the Golf Program

Visitation Golf is open to all girls and boys from 5th to 8th grade.
Registration Fee: $30, optional additional $25 for a golf shirt
Players are required to pay a course fee at EACH match which is typically around $8 to $11
Practices start in July
Season runs from the 3rd week in July through the 1st week of October

League

Visitation plays in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) which is split into 3 divisions - Varsity, Junior Varsity and Instructional/Developmental

Varsity & Junior Varsity (JV)

Play approximately 14 matches at various courses
Playing rules followed with penalties assessed
Players must tryout and qualify for the Varsity or Junior Varsity teams

Instructional/Developmental Team

This team is recommended if your child has not previously played in the league or is unable to shoot a score of 53 or better on a regular basis from the back, white tees at Robin's Nest.
Approximately 8 to 10 matches played at Robin's Nest
Players are required to pay a course fee at each match (typically between $8 and $11 per match)
Rules more simplified
No tryout required
This is a great league for all grades to play with classmates and friends

Tryouts for Varsity & Junior Varsity

If your child is planning to compete in the Varsity or JV leagues, they must have a minimum of two 9-hole scores at Robin's Nest WHITE tees during qualified tryouts
If room/time allows, they may tryout up to three times
Tryouts are tentatively scheduled between May 29 and June 3 at Robin's Nest (approximately $9.50 per round)

Parent Participation and Volunteer Opportunities

Parents will be required to attend and walk along with their child for at least 2 to 3 matches
We are always in need of a Coordinator for each team, VIRTUS training required but no golf experience necessary
