COVID-19 INFORMATION

In effort to re-launch outdoor soccer programming in Summer 2020 heading toward the Fall 2020 season with minimal risk, the Nazareth Soccer Club Board of Directors has prepared a return-to-play (RTP) guide in accord with state and EPYS guidelines. According to the Pennsylvania Governor’s office orders, youth sports programs can operate as long as their counties are in the Green phase of reopening. EPYS has created a four-stage RTP protocol. The following document is intended to support coaches, players and parents seeking to provide a low-risk environment for contact training and competitive play.

There are two really important things Club families can do to keep our players safe this season: (1) maintain a low-risk lifestyle, and (2) keep any sick or potentially sick players and/or family members away from Club activities. This last part is called "elimination," and it's the most effective form of pandemic control. Please stay vigilant!

In the unfortunate case that a Nazareth player reports COVID-like illness during the season, the Board will confer and expects to immediately curtail the affected team's face-to-face activities for 14 days. Players on the impacted team will be told to stay away from any Club activities for those two weeks. The Club will forfeit any impacted games and pay associated fines, while supporting remote training for the team's players. The Club will also of course notify any recent opponents, as they may have interacted with the player who reported COVID-like symptoms.

**This is NOT the same waiver you signed during registration. That waiver was for EPYS and this one is ours.
**If you already signed one for summer training, you do not need to do it again.
