EQUIPMENT RENTAL

Question:  Do athletes purchase their own equipment or is it provided by the league?

Answer:  Regents Youth Football provides every athlete with the following equipment upon registration:

1. Helmet
2. Chin Strap/Jaw Pads (dependent on helmet brand)
3. Mouthguard
4. Shoulderpads
5. Game Jersey
6. Game Pants (belt & padding included)
7. Practice Jersey
8. Practice Pants (belt & padding included)
9. Game Socks
   

Question:  Can athletes purchase their own equipment if they wish to do so?

Answer:  Yes, families may purchase their own equipment, however, approval from the Youth Director must be given prior to doing so.  Due to team uniformity, certain items may not be approved to purchase individually.

Question:  Is there a rental cost associated with equipment?

Answer:  Yes, a separate $50 security deposit will be required at the time of equipment fittings.Security deposits can be in the form of personal checks, money orders, cashier's checks, or cash.  No security deposit = no equipment.  Security deposits are not associated with the registration fee; therefore they will not be cashed or deposited if all equipment is returned at the end of the season and in good condition.
