Team Pennsylvania, is an opportunity for high level High School Boys and Girls Basketball players to play at the highest level in front of College Coaches. This affiliation will give access and more credibility for players who are striving to play College Basketball while earning athletic scholarships. For several years Advanced Hoops, led by Charlie Fortney, has achieved a tremendous amount of success placing players in college through AAU Basketball. In 2011 Charlie took a team to Las Vegas experiencing what higher level AAU is all about. After winning the respect of the Pump N Run organization in Las Vegas, the desire for higher level AAU increased all the more. Charlie returned to Central PA that year with a vision to have a top notch team each and every year on both the girls and boys side, thus came the establishment of TEAM PENNSYLVANIA.

Over the past several years Charlie has continued to grow the TEAM PA brand by bringing in top talent from all around the state. Over the past several years, TEAM PA has started to earn the respect of College Coaches at all three levels (DI, DII, & DIII) by competing and being highly successful at Premier Tournaments such as Blue Chip, USJN, Big Shots, & Hoop Group Events all across the east coast. With each passing year, it is Charlie's goal to give more and more TEAM PA players an opportunity to showcase their skills on the highest platform, while also giving them a chance to continue their basketball careers at the Collegiate level, whether it be DI, DII, or DIII.

TEAM PA is also known for bringing in some of the best coaches in the Central PA area. It is our goal to not only have the top players from around the state, but the top coaches as well. We take great pride in making sure our players are being coached by the best of the best, as this is needed to help them reach their full potential when playing in front of College Coaches throughout the Summer.
