Gerald Jarmon

Gerald’s coaching knowledge and his style is one that knows exactly how to build a players confidence right where they are at. His ability to teach ball handling and transition moves is unique. He has the ability to train point guards on how to lead their teams both from the skills side as well as the mental aspect of the position. Gerald using these skills that he learned being a starting Point Guard at Richmond University to teach and instill the same knowledge of the game to his players.Gerald also leads the “3 Star Foundation” which is a Non – Profit (501c3) that outreaches to the youth of the Harrisburg Region. 3 Star gives young men in the opportunity to receive Basketball competition & coaching as well as a platform to learn how to become Men of God.

Honorable Mention All – Eastern Region (NC) in 1988 – 1989
Led New Bern HS in scoring his Senior Year (1988 – 1989)

Prep School

Led Fork Union Prep School (VA) to the #1 prep school ranking in the country (1990)

College

Received Full Basketball Scholarship to play at theUniversity of Richmond
Led the greatest upset in NCAA Tournament history in his Freshman Year

(#15 Richmond v #2 Syracuse) in 1991

4 Year Starting Point Guard at University of Richmond (1990 – 1994)
Competed against many NBA players such as Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Antoine Walker and Antoine Jamison
Finished college career in the Top 10 in Assists, Steals & 3 Point Shooting Percentage in school history at Richmond

Professional

Toured several countries including South America, France and Australia with Semi-Pro teams to compete against Pro Basketball Players
1996 Australian Pro League MVP in averaging over 29 ppg

(1st in scoring, 2nd in Assists & 5th in Steals)

1998 Led Harrisburg Horizon to first EBA Championship Appearance in 1998
