Coaches Corner

The City of Cedar Hill, Cedar Hill ISD and CHYBA Expectations:
● All CHYBA League coaches are to be certified to coach youth basketball.
Per the City of Cedar Hill no coach is allowed to be on the sideline without a
having a MBR# on file with CHYBA.
To become certified to coach youth basketball please visit www.nays.com to complete
training and obtain your MBR#.
(Note: This certification does not authorize the parent to sit on the bench or gain free access to the gym unless you are covering for a team coach at that game).
Upon receipt of your MBR# please send your MBR# via email to
[email protected].
● All CHYBA League coaches (head and assistant) must display league badge
before entering the gym and while on the sideline. NO coach will be allowed
free access without presenting their league badge to the attendant.
To obtain your CHYBA coaching league badge please email a headshot of all coaches
including name to [email protected].
● All CHYBA League coaches (head and assistant) must complete a background prior to working with CHYBA.

Coaches are required to turn in their coaching packet 5 days prior to registering a Team.
