The fall rec program cheers for MVAA football teams ranging from K-8th grade and is in season from August to mid November. This portion of the cheer program is home to nearly 100 cheerleaders! Sideline cheering is treated much like competition and athletes are expected to work hard, learn good sportsmanship, and gain proper technique. MVAA cheerleaders and coaches are proud this portion of the program takes sideline cheering to a new level of excellence!
MVAA cheerleaders "WOW" Middletown fans as well as competitors every week. They know and understand the game of football and keep the crowd involved. During the fall the MVAA Cheer program participates in community events including Middletown's Heritage Days, where they have won the Judges Choice Award multiple times and are always a crowd favorite!
