2022 SIP program. This program runs from January 2022 - April 2022.
The Skill Improvement Program, or SIP, is a program for younger ages 9-14 that provides the building blocks in technique and skill. This program is perfect for first timers, those who aren't ready for or don't want the commitment of club (AKA "select") volleyball, and for those who are looking to improve their skills between school seasons.
The SIP program will run from January - April, practicing twice a week under the direction of qualified and passionate Heroes coaching staff. To better serve our athletes and families, parents will have the option to sign up for the SIP Killeen or SIP Belton programs.

Dates and times are subject to change due to coaching or gym availability issues. Our goal for the SIP is skill training more than game training; however, we will try to incorporate a couple of scrimmages to encourage healthy competition and to also teach players some rules of the game. These games will be on weekends at BCYC as this is the only facility with weekend availability. We ask for some patience during the first 2 weeks as we assess the skill of the players and place them where they will develop best.
Practice Players: Practice players will have the ability to practice with both the SIP and a team. The practice player must be approved by the club director and the team head coach to make sure we place the player on the team that best fits their skill level, not necessarily their age group. Once you're assigned to a team the head coach will let you know when are the best times for you to practice with the team or to attend regular SIP to ensure you get the most out of your training.
