CFCI - El Salvador Annual Cleat Drive & Go Green Ohio Jean Drive
It's that time of year again! Our annual Cleat Drive for CFCI - El Salvador will take place through September.
We have teamed with CFCI's directors, Jake and David, to help provide over 500 pairs of shoes (soccer boots and sneakers) for players in El Salvador so they can enjoy the game we all love.
Also, if you have old shin guards or goalkeeper gloves you are willing to donate, please drop them off too! Drop-off will be before or after training throughout September.
We are very fortunate to have our friends at CFCI, and that our own players are able to create a connection extending beyond soccer and across the world! Check out the photos below from CFCI!
In addition to this, please donate your used jeans too, going to TFA player Erek Hansen's company, Go Green Ohio. Erek's organization then shreds and re-manufactures the jeans into cotton fibers used for housing insulation in the rebuilding of communities affected by natural disasters. Erek's goals are to express the importance of recycling, show its ease and promote people's resourcefulness. For more about Erek's wonderful efforts, visit www.gogreenohio.org.
We hope you will help us in our goals of donating as many cleats and jeans as possible to these great causes!
A thank you from our friends at CFCI - El Salvador!
