TFA, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded June 1, 2006 and started out with 190 players and 12 teams. Since then, TFA has steadily grown to now be the home of 250 plus players and 18 teams. The Developmental Academy has introduced soccer to over 500 players. We are proud to say we've had a 90% retention rate over the past few years throughout the club. TFA has four full-time and 18 part-time staff members.
TFA has developed over 1,500 players to go on to be successful in their careers, and continues to cultivate more players each season. As of 2016, TFA has helped put over 50 players in college soccer programs. The club also has taken over 200 players to Europe over the past 10 years, visiting England, Scotland, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Austria and The Netherlands. We continue this "trip of a lifetime" every year for our high school aged players born in 2001 to 1999 over their school's spring break.
Moreover, TFA also has produced Directors of Coaching and other coaches for national organizations, as well as former players going on to become coaches at club, high school and college programs. TFA also has represented Ohio North at the Region II tournament as a State Cup winner, as well as having players represent TFA as Ohio North State Team and Region II members.
