Youth Academy 2008-2005
TFA has two levels of competition, Red (R) and White (W). Both squads participate in the same amount of tournaments, league games and practices. Premiership teams compete in a higher level of competition (e.g. league and tournament formats).
2008 and 2007 - Red & White Squads (we offer two teams at each age group)
- Coached by Nationally Licensed Coaches
- Outdoor Fall/Spring Training ~ 90-minute sessions and up to 4 weekly, structured practices (2 mandatory and 2 optional)
- Indoor Winter Training ~ 60-minute sessions, twice weekly
- Playing Format ~ 9v9 with a maximum squad of 14 players
- League ~ Ohio North State League or Northwest Ohio Youth Soccer League, 8-10 games per season (4-5 home and 4-5 away)
- Tournaments ~ 5 per year, 3 in fall (1 local), 2 in spring plus State Cup for all Red teams at club discretion
- Uniforms ~ Home/Away/Practice uniforms, warm up top and bag
- Goalkeepers (only) ~ One 60-minute sessions per week in fall, plus weekly winter goalkeeper training
- Speed and Agility ~ Included in optional sessions
