Prepare for the fall tackle football season with this fun, recreational touch football league. This league is intended for all current 6-8th graders interested in playing Regent football in the fall. Teams will learn the offensive and defensive skills taught during the fall season while focusing on basic fundamentals, proper technique, and player safety in a relaxed environment. Skills taught include offensive and defensive stance, footwork and agility, passing/receiving, and route running. Athletes will be coached by our very own Regent Youth and High School Football coaching staff. The season will begin the week of April 8 with practices being held on Wednesday evenings. Games will be held on Saturdays from April 20 to June 8 (no games Memorial Day weekend) and will be played against other community teams affiliated with their corresponding school districts.
