Soccer Shots is working with SASL to offer an excellent program for any child born on or after Aug 1 2010. (Ages 2 to 6*). With a team of experienced coaches, Soccer Shots’ mission is to create a fun, safe environment for children to learn the game of soccer in a way that will positively impact them both on and off the field.
The MINI program is for 2-3 years old, and the CLASSIC program is for ages 3-6*; both will be offered at the fairgrounds. Soccer Shots has curriculum specifically developed for each age group that is developmentally appropriate and infused with enthusiasm and structured activity. Each 30 - 45 minute session is led by Soccer Shots coaches and is not a parent participation activity - you are free to sit back and cheer on your child.
Together, SASL and Soccer Shots will provide an amazing experience that will not only improve your child’s soccer ability, but will introduce them to team building concepts, character building words, and a whole lot of fun!
*If your child was born in 2011 then you can either register with soccer shots or traditional league play.

Why has SASL decided to make the U5 age group an instructional based program?
Our top priorities are creating a fun environment for kids to develop a passion for soccer and to develop strong fundamental soccer skills. We believe that Soccer Shots provides a great opportunity to strengthen our focus on these priorities.
Who is Soccer Shots?
Soccer Shots is the national leader in youth soccer development for children. The Soccer Shots program has been created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and experienced and licensed soccer coaches.

Who manages Soccer Shots Registration?
You will register directly with Soccer Shots. Registration for Spring 2016 will open January 27 2016, Stay tuned for more information. SASL is not affliated with Soccer Shots, do not use the SASL paper registration form to register your child for Soccer Shots. You must register with Soccer Shots.
My child is five or has just turned six, how do I know which program to register them in?
If your child was born 8-1-2010 to 7-31-11 then they would register with Soccer Shots. If your child is five and born on or before 7-31-10 then they would play in the u6 league.
