Fall 2022
Dear PGSA Soccer Family,
We hope your fall seasons are off to a great start! As the season inches by and our teams continue to play matches, we would like to share with you ways you can help our program continue its success. Over the years, donations and grants have helped us make many improvements to our facility, the PGSA Soccer Complex. We have completed field renovations, added sidewalks, goals and much more! The excellent quality of our soccer program is made possible through the generous contributions and donations of community leaders like you.
Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association (PGSA) in conjunction with Greenville Recreation and Parks annually serves over 1,500 youth soccer players through their recreational, academy and classic travel soccer programs. Also, an additional 200 players participate in the PGSA adult soccer league. It is the mission of the PGSA to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of area boys and girls through the sport of soccer. The goal of the PGSA is to provide opportunities to its players who possess a high interest in soccer and demonstrate dedication to their own development as a youth soccer player.
The PGSA is a non-profit 501(c)(3), tax exempt association. Its purpose is to provide Pitt County and the surrounding area in North Carolina with an organized format in which to educate, promote and develop the game of soccer as well as encourage sportsmanship for youth, parents and other interested adults. The PGSA was formed in 1986, and has grown to serve thousands of children, ages 4-18, in Pitt County and the surrounding area, in addition to an active adult league.
This fall season, the PGSA Fundraising Committee’s goal is to raise $15,000 over the next few months. With past funds, we have continued to improve our fields by adding drainage systems, overseed and promoting the strong growth and recovery of bermuda grass. Some of our goals are to continue the improvement of our fields, add backstop nettings and to create more sidewalk access in our facility. Will you help us reach our fundraising goals, and continue to improve our facility?
There are four methods of participation which will allow special recognition of your support to PGSA soccer. If you, or a fellow business owner, are interested in participating in support of our program, please consider one of the following ways:
Field Naming Rights: (Includes signage at the entrance of the sponsored field)
Fence Panel Signage: (3’ x 7’ Panels are located around the fencing of our Championship Field #6)
Supporters Club Signage: (Supporters Club signs are located along the entrance to the facility)
Buy a Brick Campaign: (Bricks are placed around the concessions stand area.)
Enclosed is a copy of the sponsorship information for you to complete and return via mail (PGSA Soccer, PO Box 3915, Greenville, NC 27836). Your contribution is greatly appreciated and can be mailed to PGSA. It is the mission of PGSA to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of area boys and girls through the sport of soccer. The goal of PGSA is to provide opportunities to its players who possess a high level interest in soccer and demonstrate dedication to their own development as a soccer player. PGSA supports a recreational as well as a more competitive environment that demands commitment by both the parent and the player. It is the vision of PGSA to develop the player in all aspects of soccer as well as leadership, sportsmanship and fair play. Support PGSA Soccer today with your check made payable to PGSA Soccer.
Again, we thank you for your generous assistance to create a soccer facility that will make our community and region proud! We hope you will come to share in the excitement of our Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association teams!
Sincerely,
Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association Board & Fundraising Committee
