2025-2026 Academy & Select Soccer

CLCF Soccer Club is a member organization with Soccer Rhode Island (SRI).

CLCF / New England Revolution Academy teams provide players an opportunity to accelerate their soccer development by training with professional coaches from the New England Revolution Academy. Teams are formed in the summer for play in the fall, winter and spring. Full season commitment is expected of those that accept a roster spot. Positions on teams are limited and granted to players based on the aptitude demonstrated during tryouts. All players must try-out for positions on teams as prior selection to the program does not guarantee subsequent placement.

Players that don't earn a spot on an Academy team will be offered a spot on a Select team. CLCF Select Soccer is a program designed for players looking to advance their skills and abilities through training and participating in matches at a higher level of competition. Players, especially at the younger ages do not need to be advanced; rather they need the drive to work hard on their skills. This requires a player and their family to make a more significant commitment to the game and their team as compared to our Developmental Soccer Program. Positions on teams are limited and granted to players based on the aptitude demonstrated during our try-outs. All players must try-out for positions on teams as prior selection to the program does not guarantee subsequent placement. Players not selected into the program in a given year are encouraged to participate in CLCF Developmental Soccer, further their skills and re-apply in future sessions.

Tryouts will be on Perra Field located at the Chafee Complex located at 450 Hope Road, Cranston, RI.

Players should arrive 30 minutes before their time slot to check in. Each player should have their own soccer ball, shin guards, cleats, and water.
