To All Baseball Families,

On Saturday, June 15th, Tri-Town will be hosting the Challenger League games.

The Challenger League is a baseball league for disabled children that is affiliated with Little League International.

The Morris County Chapter of the Challenger League was founded in 1999 and currently has 74 players signed up to play in their baseball games this season.

The League has 4 teams and they will be playing a game on each of our two Fanny Road fields starting at 2pm. These games will continue until about 5pm.

Each Challenger League player is paired up with a player from our league as their buddy. Buddies assist the Challenger League players with batting, running the bases, and fielding.

More information on the Challenger League can be found at their website:

Volunteers are needed on this day in support of these games. The available roles are as follows:

· Field Preparation (4 people needed)
· Concessions (2 people needed)
· Public Address Announcer (1 person needed)

Volunteering for these roles satisfies your requirement to have your Volunteer Bond refunded to you at the end of the season.

Please reply to [email protected] if you would like to volunteer for one of these roles.

If you are interested in having your child signup as a Buddy on this day, please let us know this as well.

Feel free to respond back with any questions that you may have regarding this wonderful event.
