The Amherst Athletic Association manages over 20 fields in cooperation with the Amherst School District. Please review the following regarding field usage.
Field usage is granted, in order of hierarchy…
1. Scheduled Pay To Participate School Event
2. Scheduled PTP School Practice
3. Scheduled Amherst Athletic Association Event
4. Scheduled AAA Practice
5. Scheduled Maint.
6. Scheduled Clubs
7. Public use. Fields are treated as public parks, first come, first serve, or till a group identified in lines 1-6 has a scheduled event. Public can get a field use permit from AAA. request time and location at [email protected].
School Schedules, AAA schedules or field use permits should be carried by coaches when using the fields. This will help resolve any disputes on who has the right to the field.
Requests for field use permits should be sent to [email protected] at least 48 hours before they are needed.
